THE STORY OF The Forth Hotel

Perched on the corner of Pink Lane just five minutes’ walk from the heart of Newcastle, The Forth has a colourful past, having allegedly been the site of a former brothel and illegal boxing matches during Victorian times.  Part and parcel of local history, the pub remains ever popular and a favoured spot for after-work drinks, a mid-week bite to eat and weekend nights out.

The Forth’s unique roof terrace makes it all the more appealing for a visit during the summer – with cosy seating and patio heaters for days when the weather is a little more Britain than Bahamas…
